MONSTER BLACK BEARS
Mature bears will average 6 to 6 1/2 foot nose to tail, weighing 250– 300 lbs. We have taken many giants over 7 foot, 400lbs + with record skulls.
The hunts are six days in length, conducting from early May through mid June. Bears emerge from their dens around mid April, well furred and in search of food – weeks before the first hunt.
Our Rifle and Archery hunters have maintained a success rate of 150% over many years. With Alberta’s two bear limit, a number of our hunters choose to bring both rifle and bow.
Our long time reputation and repeat clientele will attest to the quality of our hunts and their trophies will speak for themselves. |
